I’ve heard snacking through out the day is good, but then i’ve heard that you shouldn’t snack to loose weight. I’m currently trying to loose weight and i have the working out part down, i just need to figure out the eating part of things. I’ve been trying to eat less calories than normal, but i always end up slipping.

What are your thoughts on different eating habits geared towards weight loss?

Hi Blondie,

As far as the IDEAL eating habits, which is what I think you’re asking here, I would not worry too much about counting calories and slipping up on that, because that can drive you insane! But more just think about the actual quality of those calories. Building healthy eating habits and keeping the weight off in the long term is what you should really strive for.

As cliche as it may sound you gotta eat your veggies. They are amazingly good for you, also raw nuts (almonds are best) fruits, and 100% whole grain breads instead of white flours (white flour is very bad for you, read up on it if you get the chance!) Try and stay away from fried foods and fast food as much as possible, and other empty calories and foods that provide you no nutrients, like ice cream/candy/cake etc. Substitute Soda for water and 100% pure juice (this was HUGE for me, I lost 10 pounds doing ONLY this)

Just be persistent, set goals, make little changes and stick with them. You will get to where you want to be. You really have to want it, I did and I’m at my goal weight now. Please check out my blog, I think you will enjoy the information and my weight loss story. The link is below and best of luck hon.

You can eat all low carb foods. Also you need to avoid high fat contained food like Ice creams, meat, etc.

Other than this you can use some natural weight loss products like colon cleanser or acai berry.

But you need to check whether they work for you before buying.

I thing the colon cleanse free trial pack is given at

    Check that out

The basics of weight loss are not as complicated as people make it out to be. You need to simply change your diet to healthy whole foods, fruits and veggies and get plenty of exercise.

This is hard to do for most of us because we are tempted with junk foods all the time.

If you want a structured diet plan that will tell you the types of food that you can eat and when you should eat them you can find diet plans

The best is eating a healthy diet, preferably based on the food pyramid structure, which includes eating fruits and vegetables ant least 5 times a day and drinking lots of water. For a great healthy eating program check out http://19f19gi8y1st4p6ynapiuo8vcs.hop.clickbank.net/ since an active lifestyle change is required to achieve permanent weight loss.

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

You are overweight for the most simple of reasons — because you’re eating the wrong foods, the wrong types of calories per meal, and you’re also eating meals in the wrong patterns each day.

Think closely about what we’re about to tell you, since it’s going to change the way you think about dieting…

FOOD is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills, because the FOOD that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT. You don’t get fat because of a lack of exercising, that’s a myth. You get fat because you don’t eat the right foods at the right intervals each day.

Also, the pattern that you choose to eat your meals each day is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills. This is true because your body is like an "engine" and it only needs certain foods at certain intervals each day, and if you don’t eat the right foods at the right times then it won’t burn those calories — and you’ll wind up storing those calories as fat tissue. (Hint: You need to eat more than 3 times per day to lose weight, but we’ll show you the details later).

You have gotten overweight by eating the wrong foods, that much is a fact. And guess what? You can get SLIM by eating the RIGHT FOODS at the RIGHT INTERVALS each day.

It’s not really any more complicated than that, and the way to start losing weight has nothing to do with starving yourself or jogging.

No need to make sacrifices! Just follow these simple guidelines to lose your first 10 pounds, last 10 pounds or give your weight loss program a boost when it seems to have stuttered to a halt. This is a balanced and flexible plan that you can use for as long as you want.

Great question! It’s definitely better to eat small frequent meals throughout the day to promote weight loss. You can actually eat the same amount as you usually eat in 3 meals, but spread your intake out throughout the day. This is better for you because you provide your body with a constant flow of energy. No peaks and valleys in your blood sugar, just good consistent energy. Understand that what you eat should be able to provide you with the energy you need for the next activity. So, if most of your activity is during the day, that’s when you need to provide your body with the energy it needs to sustain that activity. If you are going to have a couch day, then you don’t need as much energy (food).

To provide your body with sustainable energy always mix a good source of fiber filled carbohydrate with a source of protein. Carbohydrates provide you with energy (glucose), while the protein and fiber slow down the release of glucose into the blood.

Good snacks or “small meals” would be half a sandwich on whole grain bread, yogurt and a fruit, milk and a fruit, cheese and a fruit or vegetables/vegetable juice, a cup of bean soup, hummus and vegetables, beans right out of the can, whole grain cereal and milk, nuts and fruit, a baked sweet potato with sunflower seeds or even a little plate of leftovers (too small for a meal, but enough for a snack).

I hope this is helpful. Enjoy the grazing!
