2011 Jan 14 2actually she has it Exactly right, this is THE right way to do it. For me sugar was the hardest, I never realized just how addicted I was to sugar and just how hard it was for me to cut it out, I cheated a few times but then realized I am the only one who can make it work and I need to stop making excuses and procrastinate, before u know it Summer will be here again and again I will be wearing babydolls but not this year, for my health I have to eat right. Even my dog is fat, thats very bad.

2011 Jan 14 11Marlena, this was so inspirational. I am 15 and I am overweight. I am not obese, but I’m still overweight. I lost some pounds over the summer but I have gained it all back, and I am so upset. I love how honest you are and being truthful about how there is no quick fix. I think my problem is eating too much. I am planning to lay off the snacks. I want to look good for my 16th birthday. You, alone, have inspired me to lose weight because I know if you can do, I can do it. You look great, and ILY!!

I actually saw a nutritionist and she recommended a lot of the same things you did, except more whole grains (since I don’t have any issue with wheat). Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that thanks to you, I will be experimenting with red lipstick instead of Valentine’s Day candy and a gorgeous green eye instead of green bagels on St. Patrick’s Day!

2011 Jan 14 17My friend used the jimmy Carr method and stopped eating anything after six and she lost alot of weight from it with no exercise or cutting out anything she likes

2011 Jan 14 23I had the same problems with pasta and stuff, im Italian too and it’s so hard to stop eating carbs!!! Its funny us Italians LOVE food. One thing I tried doing was eating lots of natural stuff, nothing that was ‘man made’ and it really helped me:) lovely helpful video and you seem very sweet too:) well done and keep going!:)

2011 Jan 14 25Cutting out starch and sugars? Lol. If you want to lose weight it is literally mote than twice as effective to reduce fat than carbs.
1 gram Carb = 4 Calories
1 gram Protein = 4 Calories
1 gram Fat = 9 Calories
Fat is most often what makes people.. fat, surprisingly.
