    I weigh almost 250lbs could i live on 900 – 1150 calories & do u think id have quick weight loss?
    I want to get slim quick in extremely over weigh im only 5,2 age 24

    You could definitely live on that many calories if you don’t get regular exercise. The best way to lose fat fast from my experiences is lots of cardiovascular exercise and eating less in general.

    anything under 1200 calories will drastically slow down your metabolism. your body will go into "starvation mode" and start saving fat instead of getting rid of it. so you may los a few pounds but then you’ll start packing them back on plus some.

    You can loose extremely fast by eating 1,200 calories a day. I have been eating about that and loosing 3 lbs a week for the last month. This is good at the beginning of the program; however, the healthy way to loose is between .5 and 2 lbs a week.

    You do not want sagging skin! … and health problems.
    Make sure you take a multivitamin and drink enough water to flush the fat (about 2 liters a day, or 60 oz). Even though you are young you still should be very careful and make sure you eat enough of what you need.

    I’m an LPN, so here is my opinion…

    First, you can live on 900 calories, no doubt…for awhile.

    Consider this…without exercise, a quick fad diet like this will cause excess skin, like those flabby arms of older ladies that wave in the breeze, a stomach "apron" that hangs down, etc. Is having that what you really want? It happens when weight comes off either too quickly or with no exercise to tone them back up.

    My suggestion is to find a nice diet that isn’t nearly so strict, exercise frequently, and get a good dose of self-esteem. You’ll be happier in the long run.

    I believe that weight loss always starts from mindset. This is the reason why i am able to lose 15kg in 2 months and maintain for 3 years straight, all the way till my pregnancy.

    1) What is my goal? I want to lose __kg in __ time.

    6) Then when do I want to take action?

    Some solutions I can offer you for diet:
    Breakfast: eat fruits/drink fruit juice
    Lunch: Less carbo, more veg and fruits, less seafood, meat and eggs
    Dinner: Same as lunch but no solid food after 8pm. Soups are great dinners

    If you want to exercise to enhance the speed of weight loss. Go for some light jogging or do something you enjoy like an aerobic class or kick boxing class…
