Are there any pills that do not cause any side effects that can be used by hypothyroid people for weight loss? Can anyone suggest name of pills and source of purchase???

No, there aren’t.

Hypothyroid people need to consume foods that stimulate the thyroid and avoid foods that disrupt thyroid function.

Of all the foods to avoid – anything containing soy. Soy is the absolute worst thing you can give to your thyroid, especially if you’re on medication for hypothyroidism.

Also limit all other goitrogenic foods (google this for a list).

Thyroid stimulating foods include coconut and coconut oil, avocadoes, shellfish, fish, and seaweed.

    continue taking thyroid pills for at-least for 3 months get your thyroid checked if normalised then you can start any Weight reducing pills may be LAPTOS-10 mg one tablet before breakfast for one month, then 15 mg tablet for 2 month you will reduce 5% of ur weight.

    If you are actually hypothyroid you can be prescribed syntharoid (AKA thyroxin) by a doctor. It’s a synthetic version of the hormone that hypothyroid people don’t produce enough of. As it’s identical to the actual hormone, there are no side effects.

    If you aren’t already taking syntharoid it will help with weight loss, as it increases you metabolism to a normal level.
