What influence has America had on obesity in other countries?

I am writing a research paper and my thesis is (basically) American fast food influence has caused obesity to sky rocket in other countries around the world instead of just confined here. Please, only post credible sources. Thank you.

KFC, McDonald have branches almost in all the country and they adding to the obesity population of the world

    we creat McDonald over there and charge more! (in france mcDonalds is really expensive)
    and we send all our fatty food over there and its not good for the word we are all just fatties that need to go take a walk :)
