    Mike Tyson only ate on a daily basis, oatmeal in the morning, steak and pasta in the afternoon, and more steak and pasta at night, Might seem alot but according to bodybuilding stuff, that is nowhere near enough, and he did endless amounts of running and cardio, technically he should be muscle-less. yet he managed to retain big huge forearms and stuff.

    Construction workers are always huge and muscular and eat rubbish, theres alot of things these scientists arent taking into consideration.

    hey thanks for the video. People come on utube trying to be smart and say oh u r wrong. If they did a little research any excess calories is stored as fat. protein, carbs, fat does not matter. Us as consumers are miss lead a lot so we can buy into what ever the industry is trying to sell.

    @KapRowMeat Ignorance is bliss, huh?

    @KapRowMeat

    Protein is also a source of energy. This is why people lose muscle when they go for a low carb diet. The body eats the protein from the muscle as fuel.

    What he says it’s try. When i went on my diet i lost 2 pounds a week and gained muscle especially on my legs. My protein intake was only .70 per body pound, not even 1g per body weight.

    this is common sense, great advice.

    I’ve been going to the gym and lifting for nearly a year now and have put on 5kg of muscle and lost 15kg of fat. Not once have i eaten protein powder and i havent had many days where i have a calorie surplus. Think how much 5kg of steak is?

    its just like you say, the weights will do it and proper nutrition and body function will do the rest.

    Will Lifting weights and sit-ups and crunches will lose body fat and build muscle without going on a planned diet program. Steve Turano? Yes or No?

    Bla Bla Bla, just get to the point and make it simple Steve Turano. Does lifting weights and working on every part of the muscle with just dumbbells for an hour or two will gain, build muscle and lose body fat espially to lose the war against the beer belly. Steve? What do you think?

    @KapRowMeat “Furthermore, as noted protein provides the body with 4 Calories per gram, when there is excess protein intake the body will utilize as much of it for energy. [2] After that stage, the body will produce fat from the excess protein, turning it into fat cells.”

    source wikipedia. on protein (nutrient) wiki page theres a whole paragraph about excess protein.
    shit this steve guy knows what hes talking about. thanks steve.

    @tidusfantasy Here’s one for you…. Think of a big fat out of shape person that’s never lfited. They start walking, watching what they eat, and begin lifting and THEN start buiding muscle on a calorie deficit!!!!. Hmmmmm!

    R U Sure???? If u have a calorie deficit, u still can build muscle? Sound absurd to me. U need a higher intake than energy expenditure to gain weight, in this case, muscle mass… I really want to hear more from u regarding this. U have some interesting points. Im a graduate student in exercise science, and this is the first time im hearing this caloric deficit helping to build muscle….pls explain

    @CeeEmmz you need more cardio, Bruce Lee trained with intensity for hours each day, and always opened each morning with a 6 mile jog, walk, or run… also your diet needs to be incredibly spartan, Lee took in a couple of protein shakes and ate clean.
