2011 May 06 1It’s very difficult.
You’re basically volunteering to be part of a famine.
And your body will start driving you crazy until you eat something again.

2011 May 06 2Of course it is. In fact, proper diet is 85-90% of the weight loss/maintenance equation.
Of course, there are a host of reasons exercise is important, and it can speed up weight loss. Long term, exercise really should be added into the mix. Unless you’re dead, you can do SOMETHING.
Watching it all fall!!!
2011 May 06 3Yes, of course it’s possible. = )
Eat less and allow the body to burn the calories.
The scientific process behind it is simple: The body’s BMR(Basel Metabolic Rate) will continue to expend (aka burn) calories in order to provide energy for not only basic functions(heart, lunges, brain, etc) but also any other cells that require energy.
See basically fat is just stored energy on your body. When you are not eating the calories(energy) in food the body still needs to function in order to survive. This is where fat is tapped into and used for a calorie(energy) source.
So if your BMR is 1800 calories a day and you only eat 1200 then you are effectively burning 600 calories a day!
Good luck!
