What are your weight loss secrets?

I’m currently doing well at my goal to get down to 65kg by losing 10kg through celebrity slim, eating healthy and exercising. Just wondering how others have lost weight and kept it off??? ![]()
I’m 21, 5′ 7 and before 2 years ago i weight 215 pounds and my friends called me "mini-tanker" because of my body and i’ve been hospitalized for a week due to the side-effect of weight loss pills. At that moment i was in the verged of breaking down. The odd is that the pills was celebrated and claimed to be safe by the TV media and in the internet.
Finally, in 2007 a friend introduce me a new concept of weight loss program that change my life since then. I’ve lost 30 pounds in the first month and my current weight is 115 pounds. The truth is our own metabolism system play a vital part in controlling the amount of body fat burned in the process of providing energy to the body. Knowledge about our own metabolism function is the mother to all weight loss programs. With the knowledge you not only reduce your weight but able to maintain an ideal weight and living a healthy life. Best of all you can eat what you most enjoyed without gaining any weight. 2009 Aug 25 1Eat only nutritious foods when you’re hungry, stop when you’re satisfied. Exercise daily. Maintain a regimen.

2009 Aug 25 4if you are a soda drinker, i guarantee you that if you stop drinking soda COMPLETLY for 2 months, you will see a dramatic weight loss.

i used to weigh 185 pounds nd in 2 months i went down to 145 pounds just by reducing calorie intake!

2009 Aug 25 7My opinino is "what does it matter… it’s all about how you feel"
The way that i keep my weight controlled is eat vegitables, fruits, egg whites, and tuna… Those are the most healthy foods in my opinion. Also do an hour of very easy passed cardio every other day.
If you start getting too skinny just eat more. Remember that noone really cares about your weight and that it’s all about what makes you feel best. For me since i’m a guy sometimes i ask myself "do i awenostly want to be known as the ripped guy" i think i’d rather just be just above normal.
If your too "awesome/ popular" than everyone treats you differently… some people like it some people don’t like it…. all that matter if you have a familly who loves you and good friends.

2009 Aug 25 9i find out how many calories i burn daily just for being alive and regular body functions ex. 1400 calories. so i base my caloric intake off that. like my goal is 1200 calories a day so that way im guaranteed to be under my calories by 200 everyday. i also go to the gym and cardio it up for at least 20-40 minutes. i try and keep my saturated fats very low and eat lots of nutritious meals with fruits, veggies, whole grains and lean meats. i buy reduced fat and fat free everything basically so if i do eat something bad, a least it’s a little bit better.
drink lots of water. i try to stay off pop and a lot of juice. one glass of juice a day is fine for the vitamin C.
try and take a multivitamin daily, it helps you stay healthier while on a "diet" and increases energy.
if you’re a coffee drinker, try and drink it black. no sugar, creamer or fruffy lattes.

Food Diet
The internet and television are full of particular food diets. The green tea diet, grapefruit diet, acai berry and thousands more. You have celebrities and talk show hosts singing the praises of these wonderful new diets. However there seems to be a problem, they are impossible to stick with and they are dangerous to boot.
To get to where the rubber meets the road let us speak frankly. Who in their right mind wants to spend the rest of their life eating the same thing? My guess is no one! You may be thinking that is true but you do not have to remain on the diet for life. Okay but then what happens when you go back to eating the way you were before the diet? You gain all the fat back and it usually brings along a few friends.
The other end of this spectrum involves cutting out only one or two food groups. This may be a little easier to swallow, but it still has a problem. The human body requires certain types of foods to be healthy. When you take one of them completely away, you reduce the body’s efficiency or worse.
Your body needs carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals in order to function the way it was designed to. Therefore, all the above diets should be thrown in the garbage where they belong.
Diet Pills
Eat whatever you want and still lose fat, have you seen this commercial? Have you ever asked yourself what that kind of diet pill must be doing in your system to achieve that?
Diet pills work in one of several ways:
1)Decrease your appetite so you eat less
2)Increase your metabolism so you burn more calories
3)Relieve your body of fluids so you weigh less (at least temporarily)
4)Clean out your colon so you weigh less (again temporary)
Bottom line is this there is little a pill can do in your body to help you lose fat that is good for you or long lasting. Appetite suppressants are often little more than fiber that makes you feel full. Metabolism boosters can increase your heart rate in order to burn more calories and the last two’s fat loss will only last until you rehydrate and eat again.
Good Fat Loss
Sorry folks but the best fat loss plan in the world is to eat healthier and exercise more. Fill your body with good foods from all the major food groups then get out and move your body. There is no magic diet pill that will accomplish that for you. A good start would be to keep a food journal for two weeks. This will allow you to see what is keeping you from your fat loss goals. It could be the three Cokes that you drink every day or the twice a week stop for fast food. You need to identify your trouble spots to develop a healthy eating plan. Then go for a walk, even a little walk will do your body good.
