From what I’ve read on the internet the new weight loss fad is to soak a cotton ball in alcohol, light it on fire and quickly swallow it. It works because fire burns fat but will not burn muscle.     I tried that in Tijuana once. It doesn’t work, the Tequila just has too many calories to burn.

    OMG!!!!

    At what point of the passage to the stomach is this supposed to work? When it goes out (once you close your mouth)? When the soggy cotton ball reaches the stomach? And, exactly how is this supposed to infiltrate through the stomach lining into the lymph system and into the ‘fat fields’ deposited variously around the body?

    Fire might not use muscle as FUEL, but it still BURNS it!!! I am at a loss to understand why it seems to be endemic that people figure that SOMETHING ELSE will get rid of their fat for them, or that SOMEONE ELSE somehow managed to be responsible for them having extra fat they don’t want.

    What happened to taking responsibility for our own bodies and what we CHOOSE to do with them, put into them, etc.?

    Sorry – got carried away a tad there. I’m sure your question was just an exploration of this ‘new proposition’ – as you can no doubt tell, I haven’t tried it, and NO, I can’t see it being effective.

    I don’t think that is a wise idea to go for it as you may not know what exact amount of fat will it burn. Also it may effect your stomach. You should do this if stars try this they do it under proper guidance of doctors and fitness experts. You should try some other tips that doesn’t have side effects or could lead you into trouble.
